Obtains indoor location information using Wi-Fi MAC address*1 information. By using high power EnerCera, the position tracker can be driven and the sensing data can be transmitted over LoRaWAN*2.
Combined with solar cell, eliminates the need for battery replacement and recharging.
Use ultra-compact and thin EnerCera Pouch to make devices smaller, thinner, and lighter. The prototype weighs approximately 40g.

Realization of location tracker
Using Wi-Fi MAC addresses, we developed a prototype location tracker that can be used indoors. By combining the thin EnerCera with Exeger’s stylish Powerfoyle solar cells, the design eliminates the need for battery replacement and does not compromise workability. As a first step in the verification test, a logistics demonstration was conducted at the Nagoya Central Wholesale Market, where streamlining and improving the efficiency of logistics is an issue. By analyzing the usage of the site through the acquisition of forklift location data, we will visualize the inside of the market, which will lead to improved efficiency of onsite logistics, and help improve the logistics system.
Eco-friendly, small mobility and people-watching!
This tracker is an eco-friendly product that is also friendly to the natural environment as it is powered by any form of light, both indoor and outdoor. Because of its small size and thin profile, it is expected to be used to monitor the location of small, easily stolen mobility devices. The stylish tracker can also be deployed as a real-time location monitoring system for elderly people and children, who can wear the stylish tracker without any resistance.
